Loft Beds

In many ways a loft bed resembles a bunk bed, but with so many more features it can far outdo a bunk bed for functionality. A loft bed is a bed which is reached via a ladder and may or may not have another lower bunk below it.

One example of a Bedroom Furniture Spot loft bed is the Coaster Loft Bed with Twin. The loft bed is perfect for a growing kid who likes to climb up to bed. The solid ladder has metal rungs inlayed into the solid wooden sides. Finished in a dark chocolate veneer this loft bed has a twin size bed at the top, a twin sized bed at the bottom--which has coaster wheels for easy movement--and a desk area at the foot of the top bunk. The desk area has two drawers and a shelf space down the left hand side. To the other end of the top bunk the main feature which supports the unit is a cupboard, for storing clothes or other items. The Coaster Bunk Bed with Futon is another useful space saving device. This ultra-trendy bed is constructed from tubular steel and finished in a metallic black color. The top bunk is reach via a ladder at the foot of the bed, climbing toward the center of the foot rails. Underneath the head of the bed is a desk area with matching black chair, a white top desk and metal shelving for storing CD’s and computer games. Next to the ladder on the underside of the bunk is a futon chair. This futon chair is a fold out twin side futon which can be used as either a chair or a spare bed.
